Units & Rarities
Units are the core defense towers. They are obtained primarily through the Summon shrine in the lobby.
Rarity Tiers
The game features a tiered rarity system that dictates a unit’s max level stats, passive abilities, and obtainment difficulty.
| Rarity | Color Code | Drop Chance | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rare | Blue | ~70% | Basic fodder units. Used mostly for XP or early game placeholders. |
| Epic | Purple | ~20% | Decent starter units. Some (like Speedcart) are essential for economy. |
| Legendary | Gold | 5-8% | Strong mid-game units. Often required as material for higher evolutions. |
| Mythic | Rainbow | 0.5% – 1% | The standard “Meta” units. Most have an evolution that unlocks their true potential. |
| Secret | Red | <0.1% | Extremely rare units found in specific banners or rare raid drops. |
| Crusader | Cyan | Special | The highest tier. Often evolved from specific Mythics or obtained via limited events. |
Unit Roles & Types
- Ground: Can only be placed on ground paths. High damage, usually shorter range.
- Hill: Must be placed on elevated terrain. Massive range, usually lower fire rate (SPA).
- Hybrid: Can be placed anywhere. Very versatile but often expensive to deploy.
- Farm: Generates Gold each wave (e.g., Speedcart, Loid). Essential for upgrading DPS units.
Meta Unit Showcase (Detailed Stats)
Stats are based on Max Level (70) & Evolved forms.
Akuzo vs Renkuro (Crusader)
- Role: Hybrid / DPS / Burn
- Obtainment: Evolve from Akuzo (Mythic).
- Trait Synergies: Crusader (+300% DMG), Biohazard (Toxic Stacking).
- Abilities:
- Passive: Deals burn damage over time (DoT) equal to 20% of hit damage.
- Active: Purgatory Slash – A massive AOE nuke that covers 50% of the map lane.
- Why it’s Meta: Currently the highest DPS potential in the game due to the “Vs” mechanic which combines two unit movesets into one.
Sun Woo (System)
- Role: Ground / Summoner
- Obtainment: Secret Banner / Event.
- Mechanic: Spawns “Shadow Soldiers” that march down the lane and attack enemies.
- Synergy: Pairs perfectly with Igrith, who buffs all allied shadows.
- Weakness: High placement cost; weak against flying enemies without specific upgrades.
Dracula (Vampire King)
- Role: Crusader / Bleed
- Obtainment: Halloween Event (Limited).
- Mechanic: Lifesteal (heals base HP slightly on kill) and massive Bleed damage.
- Notes: One of the few units that can solo “God” difficulty story stages due to self-sustain.
The Trait System
Traits are passive buffs applied to units. You can reroll traits using Divine Tokens at the Beerus NPC in the “Evolve & Traits” area.
Trait Tier List & Effects
| Trait Name | Pull Rate | Effect (Tier 1) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crusader | 0.1% | +300% DMG, -10% SPA, +10% Range | The “God Roll.” Makes any unit instant S-Tier. |
| Biohazard | 0.15% | +75% Toxic DMG (DoT) | Best for Boss killers to stack damage. |
| Radiant | 0.2% | +27.5% DMG, -15% SPA | Excellent for fast attackers. |
| Aurora | 0.36% | +10% DMG, +20% True DMG | “True DMG” ignores enemy shields/armor. |
| Eclipse | 0.8% | +25% DMG to Bosses | Niche, but amazing for Raids. |
| Godspeed | 1.0% | -20% SPA (Attack Cooldown) | Makes slow units attack incredibly fast. |
| Gilded | 5.0% | +30% Money on Kill | Essential for Farm units (Speedcart). |
| Tactician | 10% | +50% XP Gain | Use this to level up units fast, then reroll it. |
Pro Tip: Never keep a damage trait on a Farm unit (Speedcart). Always roll for Gilded or Cost Reduction traits.
Evolution System
Evolution is the key to power. A Level 1 Mythic is weak; a Level 70 Evolved Mythic is a god.
General Evolution Requirements
Most evolutions require three components:
- The Base Unit (usually at Max Level).
- Materials: Gathered from specific Story stages or Challenge runs.
- Fodder Units: You often need 2-3 specific Epic or Legendary units.
Example: Evolving Akuzo → Akuzo vs Renkuro
This is the most complex evolution introduced in Update 1.
- Base Unit: Akuzo (Mythic).
- Quest: “Flame Sword Questline” (Prestige the item).
- Kills: 10,000 Takedowns with Akuzo in Infinite Mode.
- Materials:
- 20x Fire Stones
- 5x Divine Stones
- 75x Eternal Vows (Drop from Demon District Portals)
- 1x Blazing Heart (2% Drop from Nightmare Train Legend Stage).
Game Modes & Worlds

- Planet Namak: Starter world. Enemies are basic. Boss: Friezo.
- Marine Ford: Water-based map. Introduction of “Flying” enemies.
- Demon City: (Added in Update 2.0). High difficulty. Introduces “Regenerating” enemies.

Co-op challenges that require 4-6 players.
- Tokyo Empire Raid:

FAQ,s
Anime Crusaders is a Roblox anime-themed unit-collecting and strategy game where players summon characters from different anime universes, build powerful teams, and fight against waves of enemies across multiple maps. The game is completely free to play, and while Robux can be used to purchase summons, trait rerolls, and boosts, it isn’t necessary to enjoy the game or progress well. Dedicated free-to-play players can still achieve strong teams by farming, grinding, and taking advantage of codes and events.
Gems are the primary currency in Anime Crusaders and are mainly used for summoning units from banners, making them essential for building strong teams. Coins, on the other hand, are usually spent on upgrades, fusions, and certain event-related exchanges. While Gems push progression by unlocking rare and powerful characters, Coins ensure that your units can keep up in strength through leveling and enhancing.
New units are mainly obtained through the summoning banners that rotate regularly, but they can also be earned as quest rewards or obtained during limited-time events. Units in Anime Crusaders come in different rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, and Secret, with Secrets being the rarest and most powerful. Some events also introduce Limited or Exclusive units that may not return once the event ends, making them highly desirable.
Yes, units can be upgraded through fusions and leveling, which improve their stats. Certain characters also have evolution paths that make them significantly stronger once the right materials are collected. Traits are special passive bonuses that enhance a unit’s abilities, such as increasing damage, boosting attack speed, or granting unique effects. Traits can be rerolled using reroll items or Robux, and obtaining a strong Trait early can give a huge advantage.
Anime Crusaders offers multiple modes, including Story Mode for progression, Raids for special challenges, Infinite Mode for farming, and even PvP for competitive battles. For fast progression, new players should focus on redeeming all available codes to stock up on Gems, then aim to summon at least one Legendary or Mythic unit early. Infinite Mode is the best long-term farming option, and saving Gems for banners with strong Mythics or Secrets is a smart strategy.
The game frequently hosts events tied to updates, milestones, or holidays. These events often feature exclusive units, limited challenges, and free redeem codes. To redeem a code, launch Anime Crusaders and click the Twitter/Codes button on your screen, then enter the code exactly as shown. Rewards such as Gems, Boosts, or Summon Tickets will be added to your account instantly. If a code doesn’t work, it’s likely expired or entered incorrectly, so it’s best to copy and paste directly from official sources.
New codes are usually shared by the developers in a few main places: the Roblox game description, the official Anime Crusaders Roblox group, the Discord server, or the developers’ Twitter accounts. Sometimes, codes also appear in in-game announcements after major updates. The fastest and most reliable sources are always the Roblox game page and the Discord server, as these are updated directly by the developers.
Robux can make the game easier by speeding up summons, trait rerolls, and progression, but it is not necessary to succeed. Free-to-play players can grind, redeem codes, and complete events to keep up with paying players. Mythic units are already rare and powerful, but Secret units go a step further, offering unique mechanics, extreme rarity, and sometimes limited availability, making them highly sought-after in any team composition.
Currently, trading between players is not supported in Anime Crusaders, though it could be a possibility in future updates if the developers choose to implement it. Updates typically arrive every few weeks, often bringing new units, fresh banners, special events, and redeem codes. This steady flow of updates ensures the game always feels active and rewards players who stay engaged.
